Avatar Portrait WIP I

Hello Everyone,

Well, I've gotten to sit down a couple times and paint and this is my result.
Size: 8"x10"
Media: Acrylic on Panel
Time: 2 sittings, 5 hours (so far)

I was inspired to do this portrait by the movie Avatar because it is so beautiful and I just love the movie. I've watched it too many times for how long it is and it just never gets old for me. I was also inspired by Nathan Ota and his painting technique to do some small, intensive studies in acrylic. Hopefully this will be a successful painting. I have one other 8x10 panel gessoed and ready to go and also an 11x14 so I can work a little bigger once I've started developing a little more skill. I should be able to work on this again this memorial day and maybe again later in the week. I will post it as I go!

Flower Pots...Again!

Four more flower pots that I made last night. Just posting them for the fun of it. Hopefully I can sell a few once they are done!

Fresh Flower Pots

Here are some flower pots I just threw tonight. Just getting back into the swing of things and hoping to sell them at the greenhouse I work at. These are terracotta, still wet and slightly decorated at this point. I plan on some oxide and glaze decoration with them too. If they don't sell, they will probably go up on my etsy store. I will be updating the etsy store on Wednesday probably and I'll post a link here too for it. Mostly ceramics going up on the Etsy Store.

Sorry for no Updates

Hey Everyone,

Well, I apologize that I started this up and I haven't been posting. My mom passed away this past sunday and it's been a tough week. I will start updating again soon though. Just getting my life put back together.

Starting up

Hello Everyone,

Hopefully, I will be keeping this blog up to date and putting all my Work in Progresses on here of my artwork. I do oil, acrylic, and watercolor painting and I also draw and do ceramics quite a bit. I would like to be updating here everyday, but I know that isn't possible for me. I will put up everything I can as often as I can. I would love some watchers and I love comments!
